It may seem like there’s nothing you can do to make your backyard better, but that’s simply not true! No matter how fancy or plain your backyard is, there’s always something you can do to upgrade your backyard. Here are just a few of some of these insanely clever ideas!

DIY backyard updates, backyard upgrades, clever upgrades, gardening, popular pin, landscaping ideas, outdoor entertainment

Arbor Bench

With little time and money, you can get a lovely arbor bench in your yard and make it so much more inviting! If it has a good covering on it, then you can put some blankets and pillows on it to make it even more comfortable.

Pinecones

This may seem silly, but pinecones are a great ground cover and also awesome at repelling pesky animals. Just collect them when they fall into your yard and when you have enough, just put them in your planters and under bushes!

upgrades2

Tool Shed

Don’t just leave your tools scattered all around the garden to rust or strewn across your home getting things dirty. Build a fun and cute little tool shed to keep everything neat and organized!

upgrades3

Fire Pit

If you really want to make your backyard awesome, then build (or buy) a fire pit! There are tons of different options and designs, so choose one that fits your yard and your budget.

upgrades4

Sitting Wall

This is such a clever idea! Not only does it give you and your guests somewhere to sit, but it’s also great at adding shape and order to your yard.

upgrades5

Concrete Planters

You don’t just have to throw old and ugly concrete and cinder blocks in your yard. No, decorate them and make them look beautiful! They’re also very durable, which is always a plus!

upgrades6

Outdoor Rug

A quick and easy way to add some color and style to your yard is with an outdoor rug. While this is best if you have a covered patio, there are also some weather-resistant rugs out there, too.
