Garden planters are a great way to brighten up any area of your yard. I am a huge fan of Pamela Crawford’s side planting baskets! They’re seriously beautiful and I think it’s a blast to put these elaborate planters together with different foliage as the season changes. Pamela Crawford is a gardening expert who has written almost 111 books on gardening, and 8 on container planting, so using her planters seemed like a no brainer. Since trying them for the first time, I’ve been beyond impressed with their quality. In other words, I’ve completely fallen in love with them! In fact, last year I made the decision to only feature planters by the great P.C., and I think they turned out incredible, I got so many compliments on them. I love side planting by Pamela Crawford, take a look below to see how I utilized her planting baskets.
Window Boxes
Go big or go bold is what I always say! These window boxes from Pamela Crawford look terrific with a mixture of wildflowers and ornament grasses. Notice how I layered colors of dark foliage on the bottom, so it would give the other tier of flowers a bit of a backdrop. Find this windowbox and more like it here.
Doesn’t the addition of a single window box by Pamela Crawford just make my front yard look incredibly welcoming? That pop of color from the window box is great for curb appeal and I felt it made an immediate difference. I think there would have been too much empty space without the addition of these window boxes and they just make my home look so much more complete!
Hanging Baskets
But wait…Pamela Crawford doesn’t just make great window boxes, she makes beautiful hanging baskets, too! Last year, I featured three hanging baskets on my front porch alone. I used the same variety of foliage in my hanging baskets but added a few more elements to create some drama and visual appeal near my front door. I even bought my daughter a hanging planter for her porch, too! You can find Pamela Crawford’s imperial hanging baskets here.
I think these garden baskets were a great addition to my home, do you agree? Comment below and tell me your thoughts!
