Just Add Seating

Another easy backyard project is to just add a great spot for entertaining! All you need is plenty of seating, a rug (you can use a throw rug, or just paint one on your patio, instead), and a DIY fire pit. Even better, you can make furniture out of old pallets.

DIY Backyard Projects: Gardening Tips

Try Companion Planting

Keep your yard great and keep your vegetables thriving by companion planting. Companion planting pairs up veggies that do well growing one another and they work to repel pests and disease from one another. I have an entire article about it here.

Ornamental Edibles

If you’ve always dreamed of having your own vegetable garden but don’t quite have the space, try growing ornamental edibles in your garden. They look like elaborate flowers and plants, but all of them are actually edible. Pretty neat, right?e more about growing them at home here.
