How to Get Started: Dogwood tree prefers areas of partial sun. Planting it in direct sun could shock your tree! Plant in an area of soil that drains well and is slightly acidic. If transplanting, do so in late fall or early spring. When flowering (and in a dry spell) Dogwood trees need around 6 inches of water. Mulch can help, should you find it necessary! Do not prune in late winter, as these trees are known to bleed sap.
When to Harvest: No edible part of this plant, but gardeners can expect this to bloom in early Spring. Blooms can last anywhere from 2-4 weeks! Growing Dogwood tree is absolutely gorgeous!
