While it may be nice to have a big, open, and spacious yard, if you don’t have a fence that you never know who (or what) will come into it. However, if you just get any normal, old fence than you run the risk of your backyard looking boring and commonplace. Here are some awesome DIY fence projects that you can do to keep your yard safe and looking cool!
Pallet
If you have lots of wooden garden pallets sitting around your yard, then put them to use with this great idea! You can add some chicken wire to the inside to keep smaller creatures out and, if you want, you can even get a pallet door!
Wood & Brick
Add some class and style to your yard with this adorable wood and brick fence! You’ll give your home that nice old English cottage feel while clearly outlining your property. You can build the fence as low or high as you feel necessary, just choose a style and design you like and go for it!
Vinyl
Vinyl fences are a pretty common and effective fence for your backyard. You can just install the normal vinyl fence and call it good or, if you want to go the extra mile, you can paint it or decorate it! The ideas are limitless with this great DIY fence.
Arched
This is an awesome and classy looking fence. While it’s often used to fence in a garden or wooded area, you can also use it in your yard if you feel necessary. It works great at giving a nice country feel to your home while still keeping critters away!
Corrugated Metal
Compared to some other fence materials, corrugated metal is actually pretty cheap, especially if you buy it in bulk. You can make a straight fence or, if you want, you can cut out slots in the middle. This will help it resist wind a little bit and you can also fill the holes with planters or other greens to make the fence look even better!
