I love updating my garden whenever possible. Next year, as soon as the ground is workable and the weather is somewhat warm, my husband and I are planning on revitalizing and updating our garden path. We’ve been spending the last two weeks looking at all of the garden paths, and I think we finally settled on a pretty cheat DIY option. If you’re interested in updating your backyard in an easy manner, try one of these easy to create garden paths today.
Garden Paths: Natural
Though these might be a little pricier depending on the materials used, these garden paths are all made from natural materials so they’ll blend right in.
River Rock: Large, flat river rocks can make for a beautiful addition to a garden path. Put gravel down first followed by the river rock stepping stones.

Save money and get the garden path of your dreams with these great DIY garden path projects.
Brick-Lined Pathway:Though it might take a few weekends to complete (especially if you have to remove the grass for the pathway) there is something so quaint about this brick-lined garden pathway. As soon as your winding pathway has been dug out and created, line them with bricks. This looks like something from a botanical garden.
Pallets: All you have to do to create a gorgeous garden path is to disassemble a pallet and place it in your backyard so that it creates the shape of a pathway. Here’s a great tutorial if you wanted to create it yourself. I love the idea of using natural elements like wood as a pathway.
Garden Paths: Cheap
For cheap backyard pathways, I recommend using materials that you already have lying around the house or the backyard.
Cedar Walkway: Cedar walkways are super inexpensive to create, and they look super expensive. Use this kit from Amazon.
Wood Slices:Cover tree truck slices with some sealant and then place them strategically around your back yard so that they create an easy-to-follow pathway.
