Growing eggplant isn’t hard with this method! Eggplant is a great alternative to meat for vegans and those going on Paleo diet. 1 Grow Zone: Grow Eggplant in zones 5-12.

2 Water and Sun Needs: Full sun, and a continuously damp soil.

6 How to Get Started: When planting, pick an area with well draining soil and plenty of sunlight. It is recommended that you mix in a little organic compost to get the vegetables off on the right foot. Keep the soil damp with a drip line or something similar. Moist soil keeps plants healthy and allows them to produce a great harvest.

7 When to Harvest: Eggplants should be ready to harvest about 16 to 24 weeks after you sowed the seeds. The veggie skin should be unwrinkled and shiny!
