Spirea is fast growing, beautiful, and incredibly low maintenance. Use it as a backdrop, or use it to landscape a slope. Regardless of where it’s roots are planted, it’ll steal the show!
Grow Zone: Does best in zones 5-9.
Water and Sun Needs: Plants should receive two inches of water weekly. Plant in an area of full sun.

How to Get Started: Plant Spirea in late fall or early spring in an area of full sun. Soil should be well draining and acidic. Water plants deeply immediately after planting, and then make sure they get two inches of water weekly. Feed plants in the spring and fall!
When to Harvest: Spirea bloom in the early spring, but if pruned correctly, they can continue blooming past the Fourth of July (prune immediately after the Spring blooms flower.)
